The Temple of Heaven Park was a place where emperors of the Qing dynasty prayed for good harvests and worshiped the heavens and earth. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is the main building of the Temple of Heaven, located in the center of the park. The Imperial Vault of Heaven is located to the north of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, and is a circular grand hall with a single eave.
